With assets in key locations, Tallgrass Terminals plays a strategic role in moving crude oil, optimizing pipeline operations, providing storage and allowing intermodal transportation exchanges for producers and marketers of all sizes.

Tallgrass Terminals owns a 60 percent interest in the Deeprock Development terminal in Cushing, Okla., which provides approximately 4 million barrels of storage at the country’s “Pipeline Crossroads of the World.” This facility offers pump-over services to other terminals and pipelines, giving customers attractive optionality out of Cushing.

Our Sterling Terminal in northeast Colorado provides 1.3 million barrels of operational storage where the Guernsey-to-Sterling and Northeast Colorado Lateral segments of the Pony Express Pipeline intersect.

At the west end of the Northeast Colorado Lateral, our Buckingham Truck Terminal provides shippers another access point to Pony Express. With proximity to key producers and the main east-west highway access, the terminal reduces well-to-pipeline trucking costs for producers and features service amenities including showers, restrooms and Wi-Fi for driver convenience.

We also own a 51 percent interest in the Pawnee, Colo., crude oil terminal, which is an injection point for the Northeast Colorado Lateral. The Pawnee Terminal has 300,000 barrels of storage and is backed by minimum volume commitments of approximately 90,000 barrels per day.

In Q1 2018, we brought our Natoma Terminal in the Central Kansas Uplift online. This facility has 100,000 barrels of storage and can deliver upward of 20,000 barrels per day into the Pony Express mainline.

State-of-the-art technology across all Tallgrass Terminals assets enables efficient flow of barrels and ensures batch specification integrity.
